I will have acquired the skills of managing my food intake paired with working out to keep from putting the weight back on. I will have the mentality of a healthy lifestyle already in place.

Put your “I love food” mentality on hold for a bit. Get to where you want to be health wise and learn the skills you need to, then you can “Eat healthy and Love food.”  Think how much more you will enjoy loving food when you know how to eat it and not gain weight.

Just focus on your goal and tell yourself that you will enjoy the foods you love eventually, but not today. If there is something you really just can’t go another day without, make it your one cheat meal for the week, but don’t let it break you from your focus.

You can reach your goals if you set your mind to it. Choose today to start your lifestyle change and be determined to reach your goals.

This may sound melodramatic but nonetheless, that is what I feel. I was born with an incurable disability; it isn’t killing me but it also doesn’t make my life peachy. I grew up shy, self-conscious and severely emotionally inhibited. I was never allowed to show emotions, I guess that is when I fell in love with reading. Books explained my emotions that I was unable to utter; this turned into my diaries.

Love Commands book download (.pdf). This weekend was filled with love, sorrow, hope and trust. It was supposed to be a quiet weekend where nothing happened. The attack that was supposed to put fear into us Swedes failed and put love and compassion in it’s place. US Swedes are stronger now, we are filled with love. This devastating attack brought us closer. Anyway, my weekend was spent with my family. We did mostly nothing, I went to the gym, cooked some good food but that’s about it. Me and my mom decorated for Easter which starts on Thursday and I’m really excited about it. I have a bunch of desserts me and my sister are going to make and we will have a bunch of guests visiting us. Easter has me extremely excited. Also I just started to read the book "Love Commands" and I love it! I hope your weekend was amazing and I hope your week is going to be even more amazing. Throwback to 16 year old me..

Our body can get easily adjusted to running and expends less calories over time however same is not true for weight training.Weight training build muscles and more muscles means higher metabolism,means  I  can eat that one extra piece of cake and still not gain fat.Yippee! Weight training gives you those big arms and broad shoulders that cardio can not give.

Cut back on all processed foods and drinks. Pizza is tasty so are cookies but these food can be detrimental for fat loss because they are high in sugars and calorie dense .They mess up your metabolism leading to weight gains .I would suggest having 1 cheat meal every week after a month long of complete diet. Focus on a caloric deficit of not more than 200 -400 calories. Going on severe caloric deficit would put your body on starvation mode stopping fat loss.Try to reduce calories gradually and slowly.Your aim should be to lose no more than 1-2 pound of weight every week.It won’t put your body under stress. Focus on getting enough protein and fibre. Getting enough protein and fibre along with weight training would ensure that you gain muscles making you leaner and muscular.Best part about it is you just have to ensure you are having enough proteins will make you fill fuller.

Start doing High Intensity interval training. It includes exercises like sprints,burpees etc.It will help you burn more calories due to after burn effect and improve your cardiovascular capacity.Also these exercise are functional in nature i.e. it will make you efficient in day to day activities.
